Alonso wins FA Cup!
Marcos Alonso’s Chelsea side won the FA Cup at a sun-drenched Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
A first half penalty from Eden Hazard was the difference between the blues and a Manchester United team who finished second in the league behind Manchester City.
It was Alonso’s second major footballing honours since winning the Premier League title with blues last time out. The winners medal will cap a fine season for the Spaniard who was named in the team of the season for the first time and made his full International debut in a friendly last month.
