Marcos looking forward to first team return
Wanderers star Marcos Alonso is back in action this evening in his second reserve game after recovering from his operation on the foot he broke earlier in the season. He is now back available for the first team which will come as a boost to Owen Coyle after their 2-1 victory over QPR at the weekend.
‘It was a great result for us at the weekend, I think that it can be the platform for us to push on to safety now. We have a fairly good run in having played a lot of the teams at the top of the league twice already.’ Said the Spaniard.
‘I am back available for selection and looking forward to taking my opportunity when it comes. This weekend we have the FA Cup game at Tottenham and we will be doing all we can to give the fans another trip to Wembley with a win on Saturday. Last year we had a great run in the cup and we can go a step further this year.’
Marcos is in action tonight for the reserves as they take on Wigan at the County Ground.
