Marcos in the community
Marcos Alonso has been busy away from football working in the community.
Marcos was on hand to help out at a Go Global event at the Success Study centre at the Reebok. Alongside fellow Wanderers Medo Kamara and Marvin Sordell, Marcos was able to help the children learn about the cultural differences between Spain and the UK and enjoy some food from across the world.
‘It is a great project I have been involved in each year whilst I have been at Wanderers. It is great to talk to the children about my culture and the differences between Spain and England.’ Said Marcos.
More recently the Wanderers left-back has been visiting hospitals in the region handing our Easter eggs to kids in the wards at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
‘I really enjoy the visits and it’s so nice to see the kids with a smile on their faces when we give them the easter eggs.’
