Marcos eyes midlands success
Marcos Alonso played his ninth 90 minutes in row last Saturday as his Bolton Wanderers side came from behind to beat Burnley 2-1 at the Reebok Stadium.
‘We have been playing well as a group, the new boys have given us a new dimension and with the return of some players like Stuart (Holden) and David (Wheater), things are looking up.’ Said the young Spaniard.
‘Personally I have been really pleased to be starting matches and getting the full 90 minutes. I am getting better with each game and know I have to keep working hard to maintain my starting shirt. It is great to have started the last nine games, playing week in week out.’
‘We did well in the Burnley match and the two strikers coming on had an impact with their goals. We go into the two away games in the Midlands full of confidence and hope to be coming back with maximum points.’
Bolton play away at Nottingham on Saturday and Derby on Tuesday night.
