Marcos ends 2012 on a high
Marcos Alonso ended 2012 on a high with a full 90 minutes against Birmingham City at the Reebok Stadium and the equalising goal. Bolton went on to win the game 3-1 and rise up the table to 14th.
‘It was good to get the start, I had the last 15 against Sheffield Wednesday so it was good to get the 90 minutes today.’ Said Marcos A.
‘It was also great to get the goal. I have managed to pitch in on the goals front when I have got minutes and it was important today to get us back level with Birmingham.’
‘The most important thing though was the win and we are delighted to end 2012 on a high. If we can get more consistency in our results then we can easily start to move up the league. We are delighted to send the fans away happy and they can enjoy New Years Eve a little bit more now.’
Bolton travel to Leeds United on New Years Day were a win would put the side above their opponents in the league.
