Heading in the right direction
Marcos scored for Bolton Wanderers as they overcame Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 at Hillsborough.
The Spanish left-back started his third league game in a row for the Whites who had previously failed to win on the road. Marcos headed his side into the league on 44 minutes, and despite Wednesday equaling the score from the penalty spot, midfielder Mark Davies made it 2-1 to give Bolton the points.
‘It was great to get the goal but more importantly the win away in Sheffield. We have two big home games coming up back to back and it is important that we get the right results in those.’ Said Marcos
‘The travelling support was great again and I want them to raise the roof at the Reebok on Saturday. Things are starting to come together, I think we can really push on now.’
Bolton play Crystal Palace on Saturday before hosting Leeds United on the Tuesday night.
