‘Good to be back’ Marcos A
Marcos Alonso played his first full 90 minutes for the first team on Tuesday night after returning from injury. The Spaniard started at left-back in Bolton’s FA Cup match at White Hart Lane against Tottenham Hotspur.
‘It was good to be back playing and getting a full 90 minutes for the first team. But we have to forget the cup now and concentrate on staying up in the Premier League. I really want to keep pushing and have a great end to the season. We picked up a crucial win on Saturday against Blackburn and we hope to do the same when we go to Wolves this weekend in another six pointer.’ Said Marcos.
‘The fans were incredible on Saturday in the tribute to Fab and again on Tuesday night. We know that the Wanderers supporters have sold out their allocation at Wolves and we want them to all get behind us. We have some of the best supporters in the league and we want to finish well for them.’
Bolton Wanderers face Wolverhampton Wanderers this Saturday at 3pm in the Midlands.
