Fiorentina finish in fifth
Marcos’ Fiorentina side had another competitive season in Serie A finishing in the top five, just behind Juventus, Napoli, Roma and Inter.
The Viola finished the season with 64 points, just three points away from fourth spot.
The placing means that Fiorentina will again enter the Europa League next season, a competition which saw them reach the last 32. After winning their group with ease, the Italian giants were beaten over two legs by Tottenham Hotspur.
