Europe on the horizon?
Marcos is looking forward to the end of year run-in with Wanderers competing in both the FA Cup and Premier League for a spot in Europe.
Speaking to the Bolton Evening News the Spanish star said: “Every player would want to play in this kind of situation. We’re in the semi-final of the FA Cup – which is the most important competition in the world – and we’re in a good position in the Premier League now with no pressure.
“The success we have had is not something I imagined so soon,” he said.
“I came to another city, and what is supposed to be a smaller club, but here we are, we’re doing amazing things.
“For the staff, the gaffer, the other players and myself it would be incredible to play in Europe next season and to get to the final at Wembley.”
Bolton face Stoke City next weekend in the FA Cup Semi Final at Wembley and sit in eighth in the Premier League.
