Coyle expecting Marcos return
Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle, speaking to www.bwfc.co.uk, ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup game said he expects Marcos to return to first team training on Monday.
‘Marcos Alonso is back training on the grass and he will hopefully join in with the group on Monday.’ Said Coyle.
‘He might need a reserve game or two under his belt, but it’s great to have him back.’
The young Spaniard has been out since December following two great displays against Fulham and Blackburn. He is hopeful of a return to first team action soon.
‘I have some fitness tests on Monday and if all goes well then I will join in with the first team. It would be great to be back in full training next week. I have been working really hard to be back and available for the gaffer.’ Marcos commented.
‘We have a big FA Cup game this weekend and then two trips to top Premier League teams in Chelsea and Man City. We are looking forward to all the games and I am sure we will be doing all we can to get the right results.’
